Moved by Councillor Johnson that the accounts payable, as identified in Schedule "A", cheque number 20151207 – 20151296 in the amount of $367,005.96 be ratified. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

5.2 Revenue & Expense Statement and Monthly Statement

Moved by Councillor Jones that the Revenue & Expense Statement and the Monthly Statement for the month of November 2015 be accepted as presented.

A By-law of the Town of Wembley, to set regulations and rates for water and sewer services and garbage and recycling collection.

8. CAO REPORT


8.1 Presentation to County of Grande Prairie No.1 Council – December 21st, at 10:00 a.m.
• CAO Parker noted that the picture being given to the County has been framed and the plaque is being engraved.
8.2 Helen E. Taylor Annual Christmas Dinner – December 18 at 11:15 a.m.
• Councillor Holler and Councillor Anaka will be attending.
8.3 Update on Mighty Peace Watershed Alliance Membership.
• CAO Parker advised that there is no annual fee for membership.

10. CORRESPONDENCE


10.1 Citizen request to become a member of the Parks and Recreation Committee.

Moved by Councillor Moncrieff that the Kelly Flett be appointed to the Parks and Recreation Committee. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

11. NEW BUSINESS


11.1 Purchase of half ton truck.

Moved by Councillor Anaka to expend $18, 296.25 on the purchase of a 2011 Chevy pickup truck for the Public Works Department.

11.2 Reappointment of Council representative for the Grande Spirit Foundation.
• Councillor Anaka is unable to make the meeting times and is requesting appointment of another Councillor.

11.3 County of Grande Prairie No. 1 Fire Protection Agreement.

• Discussion was held regarding the Fire Protection Agreement.

Moved by Councillor Jones that the Mayor and CAO be authorized to sign the five year Fire Service Contract with the County of Grande Prairie No. 1.

12. COUNCIL REPORTS
• Councillor Jones asked for clarification regarding the upcoming event "Wembley Mayham" that she is hearing about and is wondering if information will be forth coming to Council. Councillor Johnson advised that he has joined the "Wembley Mayham" board and will be working closely with the group with regards to the event and that it is the intention of the board members to present their business plan to Council in January 2016 by way of delegation.

13. ROUND TABLE
• Councillor Holler
o The Seniors Tea was a great success with over one hundred people in attendance.
o Family night was also successful and well attended, Santa's Workshop, photo booth and craft table were all big hits.
o The Snowflake Gala was a great event and the Comedian was very funny.
o FCSS Conference in Edmonton was a very good experience, lots of good speakers, information and networking.
• Councillor Jones
o Good job on Family Night, it was a well-attended event.
o Youth Engagement League Lights Scavenger Hunt was a fun event, the firetrucks were out playing Christmas music.
o Wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.
• Councillor Moncrieff
o Gala was a great event, lots of fun.
o Merry Christmas.
• Councillor Johnson
o Reminder about the New Year's Eve Gala and the Youth Engagement League babysitting/kids party.
• Councillor Robichaud

o Merry Christmas to all.
o Coats for kids program collected many items. They will be available for pick up again at the Fire Hall Saturday December 19 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
