Please be advised that effective Saturday May 9, 2026 the Town of Wembley will be under a Fire Restriction. Campfires are still allowed within Town limits during the restriction in approved fire pits. No fire permit is required within Town limits as long as your fire pit meets regulations outlined in the Fire Services Bylaw 753. Town residents are asked to use extreme caution when burning due to weather conditions.
For County residents, no new fire permits will be issued once the restriction is in effect. Residents who hold a valid fire permit, issued prior to the restriction must follow permit guidelines and safe burning practices. Visit the links below for more information.
